project terms
Last updated: May 2026
These project terms provide a general overview of how collaborations with nia lah studio are typically handled.
Each project is discussed and agreed individually depending on scope, timing and requirements.
Project scope
Project scope, deliverables, timelines and pricing are confirmed individually before the start of each project.
Any additional requests or significant scope changes during production may require timeline or pricing adjustments.
Revisions and feedback
Projects typically include a defined number of revision rounds, as outlined in the project proposal or pricing information.
Additional revisions or major direction changes beyond the agreed scope may require additional time and cost adjustments.
Timely feedback and approvals help ensure smooth project delivery.
Timelines
Delivery timelines may vary depending on project complexity, review cycles and responsiveness during the collaboration process.
nia lah studio is not responsible for delays caused by late feedback, missing materials or approval delays.
Client materials and approvals
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights and permissions for any materials provided, including logos, visuals, music, voice recordings, translations or other content.
Final approval of scripts, translations, subtitles and visual content remains the responsibility of the client before publication or distribution.
Use of AI and visual assets
Projects may include the use of AI-assisted tools, template-based animation elements, stock assets, Canva elements, Vyond assets, licensed resources or generated visuals where appropriate.
These elements are adapted, curated and used as part of the final video or creative deliverable. Unless agreed separately, individual source assets, editable templates, stock elements or generated visuals are not transferred as standalone files.
nia lah studio reviews visual materials before use and aims to use them in a responsible, commercially appropriate way. Clients remain responsible for final approval of visual content before publication or distribution.
Localisation and translations
Where localisation or translation services are included, clients are encouraged to review and approve translated content before final delivery to ensure terminology and internal wording align with organisational preferences.
Payment terms
Payment terms, invoicing and delivery milestones are agreed individually for each project.
Unless otherwise agreed, final deliverables are provided after payment completion.
Ownership and usage
Ownership and usage rights for final deliverables are transferred to the client upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed.
nia lah studio may display selected project excerpts or non-confidential materials for portfolio purposes unless confidentiality restrictions are agreed in advance.
Changes and cancellations
If a project is paused, cancelled or significantly changed after work has started, payment may be required for work already completed and production time already allocated.
